Kurt Vonnegut was my favorite living novelist. He is also the first celebrity I've ever cried about. He was my hero.
Like my friend, Tim, said, "It is a sad day for English majors."

So it goes.

I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.
Kurt Vonnegut

My thoughts exactly.

So it goes.

It's sad he died. I was bummed out when I heard about it on NPR. I actually caught part of Teri Gross' interview with him that they replayed from 1986 (I think). I'm glad I read, with great appetite, Slaughterhouse Five last year so I knew what he was talking about in the interview. It was a sad day for English Majors. I'm proud to be an English Major! RIP Kurt!
